Info about Steam release.. And demo!
Added 2024-07-17 10:59:39 +0000 UTCAs I wrote to you a few days ago, the Steam release originally planned to release this Friday is experiencing at least a 2 week delay. Currently the earliest release date looks to be the 2nd of August, given that the Steam page is approved during this week. It already went through the approval process once but failed, and each time you submit it, they take a few days. More info will be posted as soon as I know.
The first release of the official game will be mainly focused around the new dressage features.
Since the official game release is about to be soon, the complete version of the Demo, with competitions and all horses will be released to everyone as a free download on Patreon.
Regardless of what version of the demo you have had up to this point, if you are still playing it I would recommend updating it to this release. A few bugs that people found in the earlier demo builds have been fixed.
The demo will stay here on Patreon even after the official game is released, at least for now.

2024-07-20 19:23:44 +0000 UTCNo, using Rose and Spot. And I havent erven seen the dressage beyond the lessons. I'm nearly 70, so as I said, memory is a big issue for me, as well as old eyes. And I am not even using the realistic striding, just trying to memorize the courses is hard enough for me right now

I believe in lower levels in the dressage feature, there is the course sheet on the side of the screen telling you where to go and when. Cross country will have arrows and numbers at the correct jump and show jumping def has arrows

It would be helpful (to me at least, as I have some extensive memory issues) to have an indicator or something (a colored line to follow?) on the competition courses. I have now started the novice course about 60 times and have yet to get past the 4th jump. The caveletti course took me about 30 or 40 times trying it to be able to complete it, because its very VERY difficult for me to memorize where to go next. It is very frustrating to say the least. Maybe make it an option that you can choose, like the realistic jumping is?
