Starting the layout showing the matriarch instructing the young birrin how to prepare a spearfished seadart, a tasty marine creature common in the local oceans. Taking the chance to put together an infographic of the internal anatomy and key features of this important nutrient source for birrin a...

The HD final of the little birrin family floatplane! I will modify the cockpit art I did earlier to better fit the final window design here. Below are the cement ruins of some pre-Fall War coastal facility now inundated by the risen sea.

Painting in my own water now: current direction for the plane is unpainted wood as the family is still experimenting with it but that may change!

Forgive the literally a photo temp background: used for informing the lighting.

Work continues on the cockpit design, I am going to start adding instruments and controls, among other things.
If it looks like this is a dangerous situation: it is! River valley folk are a bit... casual about such things.

Minor update on the layout: the curious baby wants a look around. Rotating the wheel between the legs manages the roll, while moving the wheel support arm up and down controls pitch (until i can think of something better)

A sample of life on the seafloor in the valley inlet, part of the birrin story.
The swimming creatures are sand-darts, fast and quick breeding, which survived and then thrived after the Fall War. The perforated oval is the retractable feeding body of a small 'invertebrate' buried...

High resolution image of the spearfishing sisters: behind them is part of the bay complex of the river valley, protected by dunes and vegetation from heavy seas. The shallows of this part of the inlet offer excellent sight-fishing for those skilled enough to use the overhead spear-thrower.
