Second Book Out

Hey, everyone. You've all probably seen by now that the second book is out. Looks like everyone was really looking forward to it. The cover is the artist's inspiration for what "Pleasure & Glory", which was Ullmo'ok's warmek, looked like.

Right now, I should get book three back from my ...

What's Happening

Normally, the autumn season is really good for me. It's cooling off, time to bring out my favorite clothing, my wife cooks winter and autumn food (delicious delicious turkey) as well as deserts, my family is around.

But...

This year is different.

My Mom is dead.

Even More Spoopy

Well, it's the second weekend of October.

I know my writing's been a little slow. I've been in a bit of a dark space, but still working, still writing, still feeling the burning white fire of inspiration.

Figured I'd let everyone know: Cover for the second book "Do You Need Assistance...

October Update

Say Hello to Spoopy up there. He's my October Peeper. My daughter drew him for me (she's my Peeper artist) to make me smile.

Anyway, we're wrapping things up here. It's been a hell of a year so far.

As far as writing, the train will keep going, the show will go on, the ink will still ...

Monday Update

Well, I stayed up extra late, worked extra hard, and managed to finish the layout on the hardback versions of not only the new book, but on all five of the Tales of the Terran Confederacy books that are already out.

Three of them are now in final review/publishing status.

P'Thok went ...

So, I finished the editing, got the cover, and did the layout for the book.

Now, the initial novel was going to weight in at 151,672 words, not counting dedications, afterword, and the 'must have' first pages.

I loaded into Kindle. No problem. I did the paperback. No apparent problem....

May We Come In?

IT'S HERE! (Well, will be in a few hours)

The cover for Book One of "Behold Humanity" titled "May We Come In?"

Beautiful artwork by Rick Ronor, who will be doing the covers the main series.

With any luck, the first book will go live for Kindle and Print on Demand by this weekend...

The Future

I'll have to admit, I got a little sad when I realized I could see the end of the SUDS arc and the return of humanity. For some reason my brain kept telling me that the end of the story was that arc. I don't know why I locked up on it, but for some reason I kept feeling like the end of the story ...

Queen of the Hamburger Kingdom - Colorized 7251 PG

Well, I've finished with the first editing and layout pass of the first book.

I was trying to decide if I wanted to put in Ullmo'ok, our favorite Bad Lanaktallan, and decided there was enough room in the book after checking the Amazon Print on Demand service to make sure it was under the ma...

Welp, it's almost the end of August, and it's my birthday week.

Next month is the State Fair and I told my wife and daughters that I wanted to take the grand-daughter there and take her on rides so she can have a good time. She's just now five years old, and has been doing good in school, s...

I wish to write something people would enjoy

I've always known that my subconscious knew where the story was going. It was back there, ticking, in the back of my head the whole time, since I sat down and posted about P'Thok, Born Whole, and the other chapters.

Last weekend, it all clicked. Where it was going, what had to happen, where...

Well, another month has come and gone and so far most of us haven't had to travel the wasteland in search of a couple cans of fizzybrew or Countess Crey Fruit Pies, which is good news, since despite what I'd like to believe I'm pretty sure I'd star as "Skeletal Remains #1423" in that production.<...

Me Writing (Colorized - 2021)

Sorry I haven't posted anything this month. I've been caught up in a lot of stuff, mainly, summer with the grandkids and my sister needing my help a lot. Yeah, lots of family stuff, and family is important to me that I've not only walked off of jobs, I moved my entire family half-way across the c...

Lanaktallan-Human War - Colorized 8586 PG

Another week, almost another month, has gone by.

The work on the first book has largely been slowed by the fact I haven't been working on it or trying to arrange for a cover. I've kind of been writing and handling family stuff and all that good stuff instead of working on it.

That Was Fun

So, I got up and was going into the kitchen when the little black dog and my cat both decided they wanted to run under my feet. Which meant I tripped. Which meant I reached out to catch myself going down.

And I popped my shoulder clean out of the socket for the first time in about 3 years.<...
