Me Writing (Colorized - 2021)

Sorry I haven't posted anything this month. I've been caught up in a lot of stuff, mainly, summer with the grandkids and my sister needing my help a lot. Yeah, lots of family stuff, and family is important to me that I've not only walked off of jobs, I moved my entire family half-way across the country to improve everyone's lives.

Well, we're a ways in. We're moving into Act V, which promises to be a lot of fun.

And one thing that is ticking around in my head is Casey's reunion with Peel. Not just how Casey will react, but how Peel will react. She's a smart woman with her own career, motivations, and (through me) agency. She knows Casey's limitations after dating him for 200 years.

Dee is another one I have to look at. My plan for her will probably feel very flat and almost a copout on my part, but the more I consider it, the more I like it. Don't worry, I won't spoil it.

But, we've got the liberation of Hesstla right now.

We've also got the Lanaktallan and the Unified Council worlds. The biggest thing that has hit them wasn't the Confederate military.

Is was their culture. They had no defense, no way to put up a fight, and Confederate culture is a massive heavy duty thing.

They got culture-cracked and there's no coming back from that, so I want to put it in realistically.

Now, there is one thing.

I'm wanting this to still be fun. Sometimes I'm tempted to write a little darker, but at the same time, I don't want to, because I'm having fun.

Last but not least, I just wanted to mention something.
