hair texture attempts

some of the hair experiments i did in the past week. in the end i ended up making over 40 completely different textures trying to figure out what level of detail and shine looks best. the problem is that since the hair is white, it's impossible to add shine without making the hair WAY too dark in...

my modeller matt is doing such an amazing job on this! every item in the world is being hand sculpted and textured from scratch!! the lights on the mousepad rotate around as well :D

model texture update (and mouf sculpt!!)

my first pass on the textures! need to work on the hair more (the bangs especially) and intensify the shadows/contrast overall. the gold parts will have an actual metallic shader when we're done so i'm not worrying about them too much.
