Yeah, but they're all kind of weak and he's a valuable/coveted organism. Him being left on the side of the road (even camouflaged) is risky given his power level, and him going off on his own is just asking for someone to capture him. For example, what's to stop a powerful cultivator from claiming a seemingly lone stone guardian? At least with the group there's reason to give people pause and a plausible sect backing to serve as further protection.

2025-01-09 20:57:51 +0000 UTCHmm. So I guess I was wrong. Or maybe it was looking for a vessel to take over. Rocky between between stages could adopt a new persona. Or maybe after it’s breakthrough, Rocky shed it’s rock to be more streamlined and human like his partner.
