2021-08-26 16:43:03 +0000 UTCI personally think it is out of character for Salvos to allow Saffron to get hit twice on top of being pushed down. One hit makes sense since it’s sort of out of nowhere/somewhat unexpected, but she has killed people for much less. It just feels like it doesn’t fit the way she has been portrayed as a loyal protector of her companions just to watch her get roughed up like that.

2021-08-26 11:43:06 +0000 UTCOne thing I forgot to mention in the A/N: Saffron froze up here, just as she froze up when those [Rancor Mites] attacked her carriage back in chapter 50-ish. That's the difference between someone who only studies theory and someone who actually practices what they learn. Saffron, unfortunately, is far too immersed in studying, and hasn't experienced as much real fighting as even a Silver Ranked adventurer.
