Hi everyone!
It's that time! As promised last week I have a new playable build of the Bindmancer Ready for you:
So with that in mind. Lets talk about this weeks progress!
This week I worked on a combo of new animations and some gameplay improvements!
The most noticeable animation improvement was some extra transition and reaction images to the doorway prisoner between breaking down pieces of the bondage.

The other two prisoner types got some love as well!
The chest mimic also has some damage states added to it. So you'll need to hit it more then once to defeat it.
In addition to those I also worked on a number of bugs and polish items for gameplay which include:
So there's about 3 solid weeks of dev work in here since the late December update. (January was taken up by the bunny animation pack.)
Next week is going to be spent on my end focusing on some marketing, in particular making a promotional video for a expo submission.
But after that I want to work on a bigger new feature for the game. It's either going to be making a start on an experience and level-up system. Or work on the first boss battle that happens after level 5. Both should take a few weeks to implement so I'll ponder it!
What do you prefer coming first? Leveling up the Bindmancer and improving the reward loop in each dungeon floor? Or a boss battle?
