Update Post! February 18th (Next 2 songs revealed!)

Hey everyone! I hope you're all having a great weekend so far. The Brainiac Maniac video should be up either tomorrow or Monday at the latest, all I have left to do at this point is edit the video together. 

But anyways, I've been accidently putting this update post off for a few days and we do have a lot of awesome things to talk about.

First off, the Full Acoustic Song Poll, which was made back in December, ended a little over a week ago. The winner is Gaur Plains from Xenoblade Chronicles! I will have this one up on the upcoming acoustic shorts channel shortly after I get that going.

Speaking of which, the official name for the acoustic short channel, originally suggested by Ben Salvidrim, will be Atmacoustics.

My goal with the acoustic short/loops channel is to have it ready to go with atleast 5-10+ shorts/loops initally by the next live stream.

Time for a Patreon Album update! I've almost got the lead guitars down for all songs, I currently have 2 left to record leads for, then it's on to synths and cleanup. I'm trying my best to get the album done before the month is up, but in an effort to not rush anything, it could end up being sometime early in March. As I said in a previous post, I'll be much better able to judge as we get closer to completion. This will also impact when the next live stream will take place, since the album is probably the major point of the news for the stream. Hopefully in about a week or so, I'll be close enough to confirm some dates for you all.

Everything is sounding pretty great by the way! Also, for the album preview, I'll be making a collage of pieces from each song combined into one preview. That, I'm almost certain, will be here before the month ends.

A lot of people have been wondering if my wife still got to choose a song for Valentines Day this year. The answer is.. of course! It kind of took her a bit to decide on one is all.

If you recall, her pick two years ago was Oil Ocean Zone from Sonic 2, and last year it was Michelle's Theme from Tekken 2. This year, she's taking a step back, and we'll be getting a full version of..

Death Egg Robot, the Final Boss theme from Sonic 2! If you can't tell, this was one of her favorite games growing up.

This one did actually appear in Sonic Fan Medley 2, so if you were a fan of that little rendition, you have a full version coming to look forward to. :)

Last but not least... the collaboration I've been teasing about forever. A lot of you have been wondering who it is, and I haven't really said much aside from it's a pretty underrated Youtuber that was actually recommended to me by one of you here.

For the final song of the month, I will be collaborating with fellow guitarist Nirre on an Ocarina of Time track that I thought would be perfect for a collaboration:

Technically, it's Koume and Kotake's Theme, but I've always just referred to it as Twinrova. I thought this would be awesome for a collab because Koume and Kotake combine into Twinrova (whereas Nirre and I are combining here for a Twinrova cover), and also, even though this is a bit ridiculous, Nirre's main guitar is red and one of mine is blue. xD

If you're not familiar with Nirre, I'd highly recommend checking him out,  he's got a lot of awesome metal covers on his channel! Show him some love with a subscribe too. :)

This song is actually almost finished, I've receieved all I need from Nirre and all I have left to do is adding synths and cleaning it up, and editing the video together. So it will pretty much definitely be the 4th song this month!

The community has been growing since inviting people from Twitch streams and we've been having a ton of fun there, so come on by! I'm also there a majority of the time since I work mostly on my computer.
