Alexandra in black&white

When I started taking pictures as a teenager, colour films were not so easily available, and developing them at home was very difficult, so the first years of my adventure with photography were mainly black and white photos that I developed myself in the bathroom. And to this day I have a great sentiment for black and white photography.

2025-01-21 15:38:53 +0000 UTCLike you I was brought up on B&W photography and for a long time persisted with darkroom processing for my mono shots while digital took over the colour. Nowadays the huge improvements in software mean that I can shoot in RAW format and generate either mono or colour images including revisiting those files to reprocess differently.
