The big nasty dude's appearance was influenced by the Battletoads, mixed in with a beetle, and maybe a smidge of DBZ. Markers are fun, I didn't expect to enjoy using them this much.
On the right is my very first true marker drawing. Left, my second one! Slowly but surely I'm getting the hang of it, and noticing some things I never did before! The characters are from a project I'm working on.
Xarbin's either in deep, deep thought, or he's just a little tired, and taking an inpromptu snooze.
Either way, this is some "marker style" coloring I did in Clip Studio Paint while I wait for my ACTUAL physical markers to arrive. Then I'll see what I can do with REAL markers!

Phew. Finally finished it, inks and all. This wasn't just me drawing emotions, it was also me tryign to figure out my art style, and I think I made some progress in that area. I'll upload the template shortly!
