2022-07-27 23:38:37 +0000 UTCJapan give their children independence from a very early age, so children are more likely to interact with all so sorts of adults, including creeps like in this episode. Even Mob’s encounter and relationship with Reigen is not something very typical here in Canada, for example. BUT I do love how the show goes above and beyond in their portrayal of how important a mentor/ caring adult can be in your life. While he’s not perfect, Reigen has been more of a guardian to Mob than his parents have ever been, and honestly who knows where mob would be right now without him. Just imagine the outcome of the battle in the Claw base without his intervention.
