I'm not phased by getting declines or when people scale back their pledges--it's totally normal and comes with the territory. I feel that worrying about the specifics is missing the big picture, and the big picture is that this Patreon page has still gotten further than I ever could've hoped for and for that I'm eternally grateful. (Managed to get this far without any paywalls, aside from things like source files!)
If you need to adjust or withdraw your pledge for a particular reason you don't mind telling me, by all means share as well. You can be as blunt as possible even--whether it's from just not being able to afford it, to my content output not being high enough, etc.. That kind of feedback helps. But don't feel bad if you need to alter your pledge, especially in the case of personal life issues.
