I did not know Laura spoke Romanian, but then again, since she is fluent in Latin, learning the five Romance Languages would be easy for her.

What if the guard is a serial rapist who abused his position, and whoever enchanted him chose this over just killing him? WWMD? (what would Mink do) under such conditions, assuming she couldn't fix him to not be a rapist (Clue: look at what she did to Toy's owner in that series). Is it really better to zombie-fy vs. suggesting he eat a bullet? And what if the man is wrongfully enchanted? What does she know about the person who cast the spell, who probably will know when Mink removes it? Does Mink know who that is? Where they are? How powerful they are? NO. I'd like to see Mink get a lesson in patience and recon - the situation is stable, she does not need to act immediately, she should bid her time and do her research.
