I love this! I actually just adopted a kitten too. It's so fun to see other people's experiences with them! I wish I could have adopted 2 together to help acclimate them a bit better cause it's so nice to see these 2 playing with each other lol

2022-04-03 12:19:29 +0000 UTCThey look like good cats. I don’t know if you ever watch Jackson Galaxy YouTube videos but in the states he is like the cat whisperer. He always says cats each have their own personality and some don’t like to cuddle as much as others but give them some time and space with you and try not to hover. They will come around. Also the staring thing, try the slow blink when she does that. Just hold eye contact gently and then slowly blink at her. It is a cats way to communicate comfort or being at ease.

2022-04-02 19:27:59 +0000 UTCCats can take awhile to acclimate to a new environment. My kitty took awhile too, due to her having to leave her home as a kitten and going to the shelter. But she is very affectionate now. They just need to fully realize they are in their forever home and their love will grow with each day.

2022-03-30 19:04:55 +0000 UTCCats don't like full eye contact. When Willow stares at you, try squinting. That's what cats do to signal they aren't a threat. It won't mean an instant change in her attitude towards you, but it might help a little.
