Theeere it is.
This one got way bigger than planned but I'm finally done with 1.42 (I think lol).
Here's an overview of the biggest features, fixes and changes.
Yeah, I said it'd be ready "in a few days" which was almost a month ago.
Buuut, I did actually make some notable progress in that time (also christmas was a thing).
Here's some important things that I noticed just when I was about to wrap things up, with most of them actually resulting i...

So... it's been a while, again, and I'm sorry for that - lots of IRL things happening, plus my ADHD makes it very tempting to work new projects all the time, but I'm doing my best not to abandon major ones like Flowframes.
I've gained a lot of programming experience, both from my office job...

Update: Release Candidate 4 is now the final release (Flowframes 1.41).
I noticed that I made some changes to RIFE NCNN VS in my development environment without copying the changes back to the repository, which caused the script to break in many scenarios.
I...

With a bit of luck, the final release candidate.
I'm really sorry that I kept you waiting for so long, I got distracted by a lot of stuff going on IRL and neglected this project for a few weeks.
That said, I hope I'm back on track now, and here's th...

Fixed:
- Custom output folder option was ignored
- Legacy deduplication dropdown was shown when deduplication is set to Disabled
Improved:
- Resolution modulo is now determined via pixel color format instead of encoder. This means that H264 or ProRes are no longer forced to a reso...

Since RC1 did have some rather critical bugs/oversights, here's the next release candidate for 1.41.0.
Changes since RC1:
- Fixed batch processing queue not working properly
- It is no longer possible to add invalid (e.g. no path) GUI tasks to the queue
- Fixed mu...

Sooo, I'll make this quick since I promised myself to release something before the year is over and I have less than 40 minutes left for that in my time zone.
First of all, sorry for the insane delay and the radio silence.
A lot has changed in my personal life, which made things more ...

So once again, sorry for the massive delay as I was distracted by Stable Diffusion and other stuff.
Anyway - Here's, finally, a new Flowframes version.
It adds the latest RIFE 4.6 model to all implementations (NCNN/VS/CUDA), fixes some important bugs and UX issues.
The output fo...

Hey everyone,
first of all, I'm sorry for the radio silence and the lack of Flowframes support in the recent months.
I started working on my Stable Diffusion GUI in September and ever since it kept me super busy, causing me to neglet my other projects.
I can ensure you that in t...

This update adds real-time interpolation (currently without audio though), you can select it as an Output Mode.
Also, RIFE 4.4 and 4.3 have been added to both RIFE NCNN and RIFE CUDA.

Even more fixes, and some additions.
Slowmo feature now works with RIFE-NCNN-VS, using image sequences as input now works again (and has a nicer workflow where you're prompted to enter a frame rate to use), RIFE 2.3 has been added to the RIFE-NCNN-VS models (only supports 2x though) for tho...

More fixes and improvements regarding RIFE-NCNN-VS.
FPS limiting now works (just like regular RIFE-NCNN), and users who previously got the error "gpu_thread must be between 1 and x" should no longer have any issues.

This update primarily focuses on some things that were broken with the new VapourSynth implementation of RIFE (RIFE-NCNN-VS).
It now respects the GPU ID set in the settings (NCNN). However it currently can't do multi-GPU, so if you specified multiple IDs, it will only use the first one.

So here it is, the first Flowframes version with VapourSynth-based RIFE, eliminating the need to store all the frames on disk.
Do keep in mind that some things don't work with the new implementation yet, like FPS limiting/downsampling.

Fractional interpolation now works fine with RIFE-NCNN, both scene detection and deduplication have been fixed.
Also, the RIFE 4.1 model has been added to RIFE CUDA and NCNN however the NCNN version seems to be broken and causes flickering. Stick to 4.0 for now.

Sorry for the long wait - I've been rather busy with Nmkoder and some IRL stuff.
Anyway, here it is - Flowframes 1.37, now with RIFE 4.0 on NCNN (for AMD/Intel GPUs).
Not only has it been added to NCNN, but it's also a lot faster, making RIFE-NCNN roughly as fast as the CUDA version.<...

RIFE has finally gotten another big update: It can now interpolate with any factor. It still has to be an integer (whole number) but apart from that you can now chose anything - 3x interpolation, 5x, 10x, whatever. It seems to get unstable at more than 16x but I don't think you'll need that anywa...

This update adds something I actually wanted to add much earlier: Resuming unfinished encodes.
For now it requires auto-encode to be enabled. When an encode fails (or you manually cancel it) you can later drop the temp folder into Flowframes and it will resume, skipping the existing encoded...
