His lips hungrily seek mine, his hands eagerly sliding over my shoulders, pushing aside my cloak. I respond, letting myself melt into the moment. Maybe this won’t be so bad. Maybe I can forget the past and embrace my new role.

But my thoughts are elsewhere. Curiosity burns inside me, and my fingers move to the buckle of his belt. I can’t wait to see what’s hidden beneath the rich fabric. After all, my last lover had quite an impressive gift…
