A day had passed since their first kiss. That morning, Cullen stood by the barn, lost in thought as he gazed at the wooden walls. Suddenly, he felt a familiar presence. Daniel approached from behind, his tall, lean silhouette enveloping the boy. His hands gently slid along Cullen's sides, his breath warm against his neck. Daniel began to slowly press against him, his hips lightly brushing against Cullen's backside, sending shivers down his spine and making his heart race.
Cullen liked it—the warmth, the closeness, the growing tension. But when Daniel leaned in closer, his lips almost grazing Cullen's ear, the familiar fear crept back in. Cullen pulled away slightly, his breath uneven, his eyes a mix of desire and uncertainty. Daniel noticed and stopped.
"It's okay," he whispered, his voice calm. "We can stop if you want."
Cullen nodded, feeling relief but also a hint of disappointment. He knew this was just the beginning, but for now, he was still afraid to go further. They stood like that for a moment longer before Cullen, with a faint smile, turned to Daniel, ready to keep talking but not yet ready to cross the line that still scared him.
