Patreon charge up front!

Due to the susceptible nature of our current system imposed by our Patreon we're now forced to plan accordingly. We're now enforcing a "charge up front" method. What this means is that when you subscribe to the Patreon we get the money on the day that you subscribe. Don't be alarmed though - this won't affect on existing subscribers, but only on those who subscribe in future.

What does it mean for new Supporters?

This means that say, hypothetically, you join us on the 6th of February; you will be charged on the 6th of February - once it hits the 1st of the next month you will be charged again for that month only. This may inconvenience some people so we urge any new subscribers to subscribe if you know you can afford it.

Why are we doing this?

Due to the intrinsic nature of our system it's based heavily on trust that our Supporters uphold their end of the bargain. When you subscribe to us we used to only charge at the 1st of each month - meaning that we received no money from the subscribed person until the 1st of the next month. Ostensibly this caused people to cheat our system and unsubscribe from us before the 1st of the month meaning we receive no money and they still retain all the benefits; this isn't fair to the honest Supporters among us and so we've made this decision to weed out duplicity and make it fairer for rectitude. We receive our due and you receive your benefits justly.
