He obviously had a huge crush on Victor but he thought it was harmless, when Victor kissed him it stopped being harmless so he pushed Victor away so he could stay loyal to Derk. Could he have handled it better for Victor's sake? Sure, but he's like 16-17, guys much older than him don't handle things like that well.

I get that Victor shouldn't have just kissed him but Benji's reaction was so uncalled for, especially since he completely lead Victor on. Ik everyone loves Benji but I prefer every main character over him
