You said it so perfectly at the end about how the overwhelming majority of the people who come forward about being SA are telling the truth and the ones who lie hurt every single one of us. I was like the person you explained where I tried to tell myself it didn’t happen to me, that because I had slept with them before and I had considered them friends before that, that it was okay even though I was unconscious which is so messed up. What helped me realize these experiences that I was trying to repress and manipulate in my mind was the “me too” movement to know I wasn’t the only one experiencing it. However even if andi reported it, unless he was on probation or parole from another crime they wouldn’t have gotten the man in trouble as it’s his word against hers and sadly that’s how it works here. If they took it seriously every time then the prisons would be filled with men who are assaulters instead of full of men and women in jail for non-violent drug offenses who are addicts and need help, not jail lol. Of course there are also bad people there but the most people who are in prison are for non violent drug offenses

2022-11-22 17:24:22 +0000 UTCI understand skipping over 5-8 in rewatches as they kinda just feel like filler episodes baring a few scenes, but I think 4 has some great moments in it. Pretty much 9- end of season is banger after banger so can’t wait will we get there.

2022-11-22 08:26:38 +0000 UTCI always thought there is supposed some nuance with the Andie thing because the guy is actually a creep but Andie also used the situation to gain some sympathy from Pacey. I think she didn't truly process what happened to her and she might even have felt uncomfortable with it but she also knew that it would help her get Pacey back. So I think it was true to an extent but she used the event, exaggerated it maybe, to her advantage which makes the whole thing very complicated. Either way, I don't enjoy Andie this season. She is very manipulative and self-serving and I think it just shows how she and Pacey are not a good match anymore. Super excited for you to get to the next three episodes whenever you can, things really start picking up.

2022-11-22 06:58:20 +0000 UTCYour right at the end, andie did actually make it all up just to get Pacey back. Like with the test cheating. She wants something, she’ll go for it. Safe to say this as they don’t bring this up again, so that is what happened. It’s great at the start how Pacey is helping Joey to turn her house into a bed and breakfast. Means more time together and I know your all for that, lol.
