Jenny Wakeman (XJ-9) from My Life As A Teenage Robot won the art poll!

I wasn't sure initially what I wanted to do with Jenny. She's a very cute character with a lot of potential creatively since she's a robot with a bunch of wacky abilities. It wasn't until a commenter on the twitch stream suggested the x-ray screen that I felt I had a good angle to run with. I don't draw cross-sections or x-rays in my art typically. I don't dislike them, but I just can never seem to find a good reason to include one.

Drawing the piece was a bit challenging. I've been doing a newer technique for blocking out poses where I draw a bunch of half-opacity blobs to set up the gestures and base anatomy before the sketch. It really helped making this pose - with Jenny on her back and her crotch lifted up - so much easier to draw.
