The centuries old fortress was formerly the seat of the ducal powers over the Blackbloom Brier. Now the decrepit vestige of a gone-by era encroached in spiky vines. The wall collapsed under the weight of its years, victim of a careless abandon by the departed defenders of the forest. Smugglers used this impromptu path to bring in contraband. They cleared most of the rubble for the access of carts and men. The proud Knights of the Thorns, now humbled and decaying, are powerless against the bandits and creatures sneaking inside the mossy bastion.
