Hello !

As a non-US citizen, I was glad to discover this movie, I learnt a lot about what happened for these guys, clearly arrested for their ideas. But as someone who loves Aaron Sorkin's work A LOT and who saw a lot of movies/shows about important trials like that, I was disturbed by this one. Don't get me wrong : it's a good movie, the casting makes half of the job.

But we miss a lot of aspects of this trial (more of the facts, the personal and emotional aspect, which could have been great to really connect with the characters, the consequences for them etc), and the conclusion is a chosen end but not the real one (and it feels weird watching the movie without knowing this story, like all non-us viewers). You can say that they chose to make it only about the time of the trial, but no, they use the flashbacks and we have these political discussions, so it's not just for that. It's really a question of balance here which is disturbing me, a choice of how you are building a movie about a big important subject like that. For me, it's a good job, but it could have been better.
