Froggy Fresh as Perry Phoenix (Cleanup Test)

Tyler Cassidy (Froggy Fresh/Krispy Kreme) is going to voice Fara's dad, Perry Phoenix, so I decided to take a clip from his Halloween-themed song "Bubblegum Bees" to test out the Rokoko suit. This is after moderate cleanup, and physics baked into the ears and tail.

This is just a little improv test I did the other day in full Rokoko suit with the headrig and my XLR mic strapped to it. Mocap Suit and Face capture test

I got the suit unpacked in the new place, and thanks to a friend I have an old iPhone that supports the face capture app for the suit. Slava and I have some dialing in and calibrating on the shapekeys, but if this works it's another giant leap forward in saving time in future productions.

The new house (!!!) is about 80% set up at this point, but my work area is 100% ready to go.

My friends who helped with the move are leaving tomorrow, then everything will return to business as usual, starting with a "Dirty Thirty" (30 days in a row of streaming music/mocap/animation work)...

Always Something Breaking Us in Two

After animating the scene with Bill Grey, I can tell I'm not good enough at manually animating 3d rigs, so I'm going to try using decent mo-cap for the 3d reference models. We'll see how it turns out.

Almost Done with the Plush Animation!

At about 2.5 minutes long, all the characters have been animated (except for some mouth flaps for Wolf) and all the dialogue (including Wolf speaking Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Mandarin) has been recorded and mixed. He's going through a little corrective surgery right now, but it's just to make sure he's the absolute best he can be when he hops off the assembly line. Expect an update within a month from today.

"Wolfgang Seamus" Prototype

The onboarding form for Wolfgang has been submitted, with this prototype. The process is identical to the one Rhys went through, so it'll be a month or so before I get a finished design back from Makeship.

In this scene, Bill gets detained and "interviewed" by his sergeant, immediately after Wolf's theft of the Greenie. Harsh lighting in an otherwise dark room; this will be an excellent opportunity to really put the new shadow details to the test.

Cornerian Premier-Elect Perry Q. Phoenix, and His Daughter

None of the recent events come as much surprise to Perry; he has some history with the O'Donnell's.

Perry will be voiced by Tyler "Froggy Fresh" Cassidy, and Kim Miley will reprise her role as Fara.
