My Favorite Dunes Trip

This set is from my favorite trip to the dunes.  It's a relatively large set (sorry!) because we just got such amazing light and tides the whole time, and I love so many of the photos.  I have a few prints of these :)

Sunrise at the Lake

One  thing that's fun about shooting at sunrise, besides the glorious light, is just how quickly that light changes.  You go from cool tones to warm tones in just a handful of minutes.  Here are a few shots from our first morning venture out in Mammoth.

Cove

Here's a fun little set by Derrick Wee.  This photographer was visiting LA and turned to me for suggestions on a location, so I brought him to a little rocky cove I like.  I spent this morning in Cambria taking photos in a similar rocky cove, so it reminded of this set :)

Windy Rock

From last November.  We drove around and saw some cool looking rocks near the road on a particularly windy and rainy day.  Luckily, interesting weather usually makes for nice photos.
