Glacier Views
Added 2019-07-02 01:47:05 +0000 UTCWhile we were planning our trip to Iceland, this was a spot I was determined to find. I had seen this specific view in photos before, but since it's not a "destination" and simply a "view", it took a lot of google mapping and guessing to find. Thankfully, the photographer, Dan, was patient enough to help me find this spot to shoot at. It was after we had already been shooting in the Glacial Lagoon (AKA we were already freezing), and there was a mighty chilly wind to boot. However, I couldn't NOT take photos here, especially after all of the trouble we went through to find this location.
It's worth noting that this glacier looked much smaller than I had seen in photos, and that the next time I'm able to come here it will be even smaller, giving these photos a particularly nostalgic feeling for me (even though they were only taken last year).
This particular photo above is my favorite from the set.
