Weretober '22 Entry Nine: Weapon
This challenge hasn't placed me in a great mood; I intent to complete it, but don't believe one day images accurately represent my skills...I also want to finish another graphite illustration, but...I suppose it'll need to wait.

I'm impressed with how quickly I can cover a sketch, but the rendering leaves much to be desired; I wish I had additional time to refine this piece, but the daily prompts force me onto the next. At least I'm able to fail quickly and asses my weaknesses.

I wasn't in the best mood yesterday, so settled on a more constructional sketch.
Thus far, this challenge has gone as I initially feared: it's time intensive, with virtually no social reward, but I've enjoyed the opportunity to draw new subject matter, and test my skills...how I long for co...

I hate how my art changes appearances when I export it from Procreate; I've had this problem since I started digital art, yet it doesn't seem to affect other artist...
Also, my laptop's currently malfunctional, so editing progress and musical pieces will be delayed 'til repaired or re...

This is the one of, if the not the first conceptual illustration of Project TOWEB's main protagonist; I've wanted to expound on his story for years, but, akin to Project B.E., it constantly slips below other, newer projects...however, t'will likely be one of my favorites, once finished.
I'v...

After a month long composition, this melody was relatively quick to complete: to create an echo, t'is deliberately redundant.
Now, onto strings to demonstrate what I learned from Bach.
Thanks you,

I admit, I'm not highly motivated...after years of academic study and over a thousand technical drawings, my art remains inadequate...if only I had a few skilled friends, colleagues, or peers to converse with...by now, I thought I would, however, I'm still alone, forced, yet again, to arbitrarily...

After a month, I'm glad this study's finally finished; I learned quite a bit, though am eager to return to original orchestration.

A male figure study, performed with standard graphite and paper.
I genuinely enjoy academic studies, however, whenever one's created, I feel as if I robbed time from the narrative illustrations I, admittedly, still struggle with...regardless what I do, it seems one skill must suffer to impr...

Forgive the delay, the last few days were a massive distraction, to say the least, however, I manage to finalize the purchase of my first vehicle, which, I hope, can be used to generate additional income to afford online classes at Grand Central Atelier online.
As for the study itself, I be...

This initially began as a one hour creature sketch, but I couldn't resist the urge to render it; though I've no story to pair the species with, and the concept's needs further refinement, I enjoyed the brief break from academic study.

Another exercise to better my color comprehension and rendering skills; I'll likely complete another, basic, master copy, afore I attempt another original piece.

Master copies are oft reserved for painting studies, however, they may also improve my musical compositions if duplicated and/or adapted into a complete orchestration; I'm especially eager to further experiment with this piece...

I returned to carbon pencils and newsprint, however, the tactile experience was far from what I remembered; it seems my preferences have outgrown my first traditional materials...now how'll I used the hundreds of unused pages?

For, perhaps, the first time, I was able to depict a realistic, biologically feasible creature as I initially envisioned it; I've still much to learn and do, but am proud of what this piece represents in my artistic development.
My gratitudes,
