Another figure study for anatomical and tonal practice, completed in three days... t'is ironic how graphite was used to create the best figurative works of my career, yet, less than a month ago, I wished never to use it again...I'm thankful I was, despite my frustrations, persistent.

Originally, like most of my songs, "Grand Counter" was a meager hum I, thankfully, recorded; it was first to used practice classical counter point, though it gradually evolved into a more complex, or "grand", composition.
My deepest thanks,
Jaivin

Initially, this image was but a study, though as the quality became more apparent, I was convinced to repurpose it into an eventual album cover .

A male figure study performed in graphite to practice my latest approach; I'm proud of the results, though the proportions seem, somewhat, inconsistent.

Thanks to an new approach inspired by one of my favorite digital artist, Dave Rapoza, I managed to depict an Ursine with a realistic semblance; note, this image's still in progress, yet, even in unfinished condition, it seemed post-worthy.
