I was kinda reluctant to paint this one but I think it look really well, even so get a more finished look (specially for the guitar) still keeps pushing me back on working on the picture any further.

I wanted to do something for myself this time. It's my lion character Dumma but he is trying dreadlocks now =P

I tried different tattoos (or body paint I guess, cause fur can't be tattooed =P) The first tries were more floral but I ended choosing something more chaotic rather than tropical.

I really like dreadlocks in lions yet it's not easy to draw or paint properly. For sure I will be doing more of Dumma with this look.

PS: I know I took off his chest... "thing" that goes to the pants on the back, but I just don't like it. It make no sense for me.

My in-between steps may present sudden changes, but the difference from first step to second step is just one multiply layer, and to the third step just one screen layer. I'm really impress how much easier and fast is this method to establish a good color and volume bases for pictures. Naturally ...

I definitively prefer to paint organic things. I need to make too many separate layers to work comfortable but it's a nice challenge to paint different from time to time.

Lonely

I preview from Ch4 first page. It will starts with a short flashback. I'm trying to improve the coloring in backgrounds and other details and I'm really happy with the scrip, it has more sex but also more feelings involved x3
