The process is quite simple here:

1 - lines/defined sketch.

2 - Base colors.

3 - Apply shadow with multiply layer.

4 - Add highlights with screen layer

5 - Add some corrections at important parts like the face (and color the tail =P)

I did this picture at 2020 and I never liked enough to post it, it was a long way but I finally happy with the final result. As you can see it turns less and less rustic with the years. I'm not sure if I will back to this picture again next year, but if I do I guess it will be for minor changes.

If you look close you will see a little noise all over the picture. I think it makes less perfectly soft no textured areas, giving it a more photographic feeling.
