This staff was done from the flora of other realm. Half tree half stone. It is very heavy thing, and very hard staff it could be used as mace. So this mage had to learn some melee school. And this mage is good in both aspects.

About character itself, I am thinking of her as of some creature living in deep forests. A hunter maybe, but her weapons doesn't suit for hunting. Or we can imagine...
This cult practise confluence with other realm creatures. But they do it only for a short period, whether they need to fight or conduct a ritual. If they will allow the invader to be in their body little longer, cultist will loose her/himself.
