Undead?

Suddenly your heard a sound of a battle, but no cries or shots, just crackle and sound of strikes. You decision was to hurry up there, maybe you will save someone from being eaten. But when you round a house you saw some dead, finally dead undeads and this guy. It was strange, he didn't attacked you, more of it he saluted you and started to move deeper in town.
What will you do?
