The Town set should now be fully usable. This month we have Towne Square Doors. Like the prior towne releases, we've got the same sets of variations of stone and stucco. This also adds a new textured wood square door that can be used with any of the other square doors (dungeon s...

Cut-Stone corners are now configurable. With this, you can make a corner tile that has a single window, a window on both sides, a door, a door on both sides, or a door on one and a window on the other.
It's been a huge set of updates, but Cut-Stone wall on tile sets are now all converted to all the latest standards, over 550 stl files. This was the top voted set for march, and it's been work I've really wanted to get done.
On top of that, I've added in a bunch of models that didn't...

Next Step in a basic towne set: Corners. We've done these corners differently than we normally do. They are made up of two walls, and a pillar. We did this because when trying to create buildings, you will want more flexibility of being able to customize the corners. This ...

Ok, the walls are up! I've rethought a lot about these, and part of where I went was in the combination of stucco and stone. For the 2x2 walls, there are 8 variations (so far), including 2 broken stucco walls like the one pictured, as well as 2 low walls. Getting this set out wa...

First release is here for the new Towne Series. Based on the feedback, I did a few more changes to the floors (they are thinner now), and printed and painted a bunch of them, and I think they are ready for release. The grain on these is much cleaner than the old floors, and I'm pretty...

Today Evan is introducing a new series for OpenForge called "Places of Power"! These will be large multi-purpose set pieces, designed and themed to various environments to plug-n-play in any RPG campaign, but also double as great throw-down items for wargaming.
This is the first release in ...

This was one of the top vote getters in the feb vote. I've been working on the pieces that will be needed for the tudor reboot, and wanted to get something else out, so since this had the second largest number of votes, it seemed a good release. What this is, is a way to make internal...

Should be last post on this today. Just finished printing one, and I happened to have a primed but unpainted copy of the old tudor floors for reasons. This photo does a good job of illustrating what I think the advantages are on the new approach.
As a side note, I also discover...

Here's an stl of the beta wood texture. I should have been more specific about what I was optimizing for, because I do still like the old wood texture as a model. The problem is that it prints terribly. With that detail on the X & Y, much of it is actually smaller than 0.4mm...

So I've started on the tudor rebuild process. First order of business was to create a new process for making wood planks. This is my first cut. Left is a square from the existing tudor tiles. Right is my first cut at a new wood style.
What do you all think?

Many of us need lots of 5mm sphere magnets. I know I burn through enough that some day there will be a neodymium mine in china that has a plaque dedicated in my honor (probably not). I just ran into a deal that's 1000 for $28. Shipping is in the $16 range, so when I bought 2000,...

This set adds alcoves. I've needed these tiles many times in my own games, so this release is born of my own GMing frustration. They let you add flair to a hallway or other rooms that can still be out of the way of gameplay.

This is first and foremost an experiment. For at least a year, I've been noodling on why I'm not a huge fan of the approach that has been taken generally towards caverns, and a big piece to me was that caverns needed to be able to go off in any direction. Well, that idea has been banging ar...
