The new encoder/decoder holds up to gaussian blurring to an extent that visually destroys the image and remains readable. Error correction also holds up to vandalism and patches of extreme pixelation.

PNG image format is now able to be stamped, offering high resolution images with lossless quality.
We’re also very close to releasing our next-generation stamping method.

We've got the next generation of jpeg image encoding working! I can't really tell you how it works, other than that it does :)

Stegostamp now checks to make sure a patron is not only YOUR patron, but also verifies that they are in the correct tier to view the content before they receive the image. This prevents link cross-posting and sharing to both outsiders and insiders.
