The X-Com Files 3.9.1 is out!

Just a bugfix version, really. Resolves some issues regarding item recovery, research costs and such. Not much to write about, but some of the issues were serious enough for the game flow to necessitate this release.

The X-Com Files 3.9 is out!

This release contains a lot of post-Cyberweb Dimension X content, making you partially responsible for dealing with the resulting political mess and giving you the opportunity to clash with Cyberweb remnants. But there are also also other missions, including another T'lethian plot to break. And t...

The X-Com Files 3.8 is out!

This is a fairly large update, with some important tweaks tweaks to the technological progress and production. There are also lots of new equipment, maps and graphic enhancements (with some help from the priceless community when it comes to autopsies). And as usual, a new mission. Enjoy!

The X-Com Files 3.7.2 is out!

Another bugfix release, which addresses some minor issues (including a rare crash) and adds a few sprite improvements. Enjoy!

The X-Com Files 3.7.1 is out!

A bugfix release to fix an issue with the clergy outfit being freely available for wearing in any mission, but I also added a few new music tracks and fixed several other tiny things. Feedback welcome!

The X-Com Files version 3.7 is out!

In this major release, a new mechanic was introduced: now every hired agent (except for hybrids) has a career background, which determines what they've been doing before joining X-Com (with some bonuses/penalties to stats).

Other than that: 3 new outfits (Hybrid only!), a new mission, new w...

Final Mod Pack Extended 1.2.1 is out!

It's a small update, with some fixes. But I should still announce it, shouldn't I? You don't want Gazer officers' legs to disappear when they kneel, right? Right?

Final Mod Pack 3.6 is out!

Another small release; this one adds several new maps and fixes a rare crash on the Native Urban terrain. Enjoy!

Final Mod Pack 3.5 is out!

A small update, containing some terrain additions and fixes. More importantly, it runs on OXCE 8.0 now.

Also, I have updated Final Mod Pack Extended to 1.2 - also to ensure it runs on the 8.0 version.

The X-Com Files version 3.6 is out!

It's the holiday season, so of course I am happy to release one more version to celebrate the end of the year! There are several new missions, two (sort of) new transports, a solid expansion of the Dimension X arc, new Hybrid trainings and all sorts of additions and fixes.

Happy New Year! View Post

The X-Com Files version 3.5.1 is out!

A minor update to fix a few issues. Also includes some map variants and an improved Cyber Armor paperdoll (by Talpiot).

The X-Com Files version 3.5 is out!

Every major release should have new missions. Normally I make 1-2 missions per release, but this one has 6, so it's a pretty big one. Hooray!

There are also new armours, articles and lots and lots of balancing.

The X-Com Files version 3.4.1 is out!

A bugfix release, resolving a number of issues, including a rare crash. The only noteworthy new addition is a Cult Outpost map I made this morning on a whim and more opportunities to meet Jarheads... But I'm sure all the bugfixing will be appreciated. :)

The X-Com Files version 3.4 is out!

I am happy to announce that version 3.4 is finally out.

Apart from the usual stuff - new missions, UFOs, units, tweaks and fixes - it has one notable addition, which is a new system for hiring experienced agents. This system is an addition, not a change, so everything still works the same w...

The X-Com Files version 3.3 is out!

I really should be asleep at this hour, but here I am, uploading the newest X-Com Files release. And I'm rather excited to do so, as there are many new toys to play with, including two armors, several types of AI chassis, a whole line of Reptoid weapons and quite a bit of lore, just to mention so...

The X-Com Files version 3.2 is out!

Happy New Year, people! May it be better to all of us than the previous.

And happy new release of the X-Com Files! Which is definitely not as important, but hey, that's why you're here, right? So, there are a couple new missions (3 to be exact), new terrains, an option to dress up as Cathol...

3.1 brings two new missions with new enemies, a new terrain (the Cargo Ship from TFTD, significantly modified to be a 1-parter), new ammo (including a variety of darts), much early weapon rebalancing and other additions. Also, combat analysis now comes from the corpse (where applicable), so you c...

Released the X-Com Files version 3.0.3

Found a bug which prevented two missions from spawning. Release 303 fixes this issue and adds some very minor tweaks, like correcting gravestone durability.

Sorry for the trouble!

Released the X-Com Files version 3.0.2

There is nothing especially important in here, but a lot of tiny bugs were found, so I decided to fix them before moving on to more serious  changes. Enjoy!

The X-Com Files version 3.0 is out!

A nice and round number, so I really put extra focus on content this time. This version brings you two new advanced agent transformations: Infernals and Spartans, as well as seriously expands the Kyberi by adding various cybernetic improvements for them. Another major point is that I finally got ...

The X-Com Files version 2.9 is out!

Finally a new release! And judging by the changelog, it's bigger than most... And I wanted to keep adding stuff, but one has to stop at some point. :P

This release adds a number of Alien Retaliation variants, both smaller and bigger than the standard one (with Battleship). Also, there are 2...

It is my pleasure to present a new release of XCF. Most of it is focused on ghosts and their human servants (again), since we are still working on this arc with Cosmic Afro. There are also new terrain features, new articles, one new commendation and as always, lots of tweaks and bugfixes. Enjoy!<...

Final Mod Pack 3.1 is out!

My usual announcements here are for X-Com Files, but this doesn't mean that there can be nothing else, right?
