Any thoughts on Hunt: Showdown?

I'm actually reminded I need to give that game another shot on this new machine. The game's gorgeous with some of the most detailed sound-design I've ever seen, however, I generally don't play Boss Hunters or Battle Royale's very much, and the game's a little bit of a both.

Do you think open letters from content creators and influencers have a chance of changing a producer's mind or is the only recourse left against malpractice class-action lawsuits? I feel like there must be a middle ground but I can't really find it.

Not really. Content Creators absolutely have influence and power, but I don't think they've got enough to make a company change their approach to making games. Another way to think about this is the class action lawsuits, they've almost never accomplished anything, and that's involving Government officials and lawyers, not a twenty something editor with Adobe Premiere.

The middle ground I believe is to assure one's anger is properly directed. People should be mad at CDProjekt for how they handled the situation with Cyberpunk, but ranting to any developer on Twitter, spamming threads, or comparing it to games in other genres with far more money and experience, isn't time well spent.

Another thing that can be done is to pay more attention and support projects in the growing middle-market, there's far too many people who believe that their hated of side scrolling indies means Triple A or nothing.

Will you be doing a "Years Later..." or other video on Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

Don't currently have plans for it, but being that I've got plans to talk Cyberpunk in the future, I should probably talk Deus Ex at some point. My hesitation comes from not believing I'd have much new to say on the subject, but we'll see.

What's a good example of a game that scratched an itch you didn't know you had previously?

I had no interest at all in full length racing, but doing weekly F1 races with friends that go on for two hours has completely changed my perspective, and a big chunk of the reason why I've gotten back into Sim Racing in-general. But a more recent example is Borderlands 3, I didn't expect at all to get into it, being I'm not a fan of looter shooters but so far, it's scratched that kick back and start blasting itch that used to be a Multiplayer game like Halo or Call of Duty.

I think today I just don't have the same interest in playing multiplayer games alone like I used to. In Single Player, there's no matchmaking, ques, waiting for other people to load, or disconnects. I can just zone out laughing at the latest awesome gun I've picked up.
