I'm not sure if the have bought subs, but I'd guess that they don't. Until a few years ago, they would regularly get over 1M views per video. When they changed their model to a non-YT subscription site, I think folks stopped watching, but didn't necessarily unsubscribe. As to why their subs are increasing, I'd imagine folks might come across a 5 or 10 year old PT video and like it, and then subscribe to the channel, and never unsubscribe. (I do this all the time. I'm subscribed to almost 1,000 YT channels, but I'll only actually watch content produced by a fraction of them. I'm sure there are plenty other viewers like me.)

PT has a load of hair brushing/ scalp massage videos I enjoy. Do they have a load of bought fake subscribers? I noticed this even when they had 2m subs, their main barely breaks 10k views on a video yet has almost 4m subs now

My 2 cents: I'm a huge fan of soft-spoken massage videos. I much prefer them to no-talking massage videos. If there were a YT channel of Taya giving soft-spoken massages just to men, I would 100% subscribe. That said, and by way of an example that to which I would think most subscribers here can relate, Psychetruth's YT archive alone has hundreds & hundreds of F/F soft-spoken ASMR massage videos, so chances are I wouldn't join Taya's hypothetical F/M massage Patreon. (BTW, I'm not claiming to have any analytics or data on ASMR MASSAGE's patrons, but I would be legit shook if anything more than the tiniest fraction of folks here aren't very familiar with PT.) I’m a little bummed that, of her first 4 videos, 2 have been part massage and part new-age-y (really not my thing), and 1 has been for a man. But the 4th Taya video, Tantra back massage on Aug 6, was a home run, and may be my favorite ASMR MASSAGE video yet. I’m hopeful of seeing Taya in more soft-spoken massage videos with beautiful models, either NU or not.

I like it quite a lot, cause some new things are never bad. Normally i have it running in the background for the sound. I like the whispering a lot.

No matter if the video is good or not, if there's a man in the video these subscribers turn angry and cry. I really wouldn't like to have such a community, crying over a SINGLE video.

Dudes getting massaged isn't my cup of tea. But I'm not complaining. If you're not into it either, just ignore the video. The lowest tear which everyone pays at a minimum for includes extended / uncensored, ad free YT (non-nude) videos as well as the nude videos. I'm sure if they find that their YT audience doesn't care for the male model vids, they will stop making them. If not, as I said, just ignore.

I'm paying the $10/month and it is specifically for nude massages that don't turn into porn. For anything I can get on YouTube, I don't want to pay for that. I think there needs to be a spinoff site that ONLY does nudes, and keep any non-nude to the lesser $ amounts.

couple of points : 1. this is a great ASMR video in its own right, and male model aren't a issue - especially this one - is very well chosed and used w/ good camera work. my opinion at least. 2. Could be that regular schedule include an extra day for experimentation, this way people only here for some specifics don't feel cheated when you guys are trying new things and you minimize churn 3. I don't know how you get your bandwidths bills to grow, vimeo don't charge for bandwidth and if you selfhost part of the content due to restrictive TOS in some cases, maybe try multi-tiers caching and find a cheaper CDN... - just some ideas... 4. Last point : you guys are great. Keep going. Probably one of the best place for high quality asmr & massage...

I agree, but not completly. We really need to provide more "not regular videos" content (backstage, models profiles etc). We try to boost this part of content now. But, about our main videos, situation little bit harder. For now we have growing library of videos, and every day we have views for ALL videos on our Patreon. Thats greate! But, same time our bandwitdh grow too...

Nothing about Dudes. ;-) Please, don't talk for all of us. It's fine for me, that you don't like this kind of content, but my first impression was laughing about aquaman getting an ASMR-Massage. This is not the content i'm here for. I pay for the Saturday-Videos. But it's ok for me, that this channel has a bright variance of content. That's creative and could be an inspiration for the videos i like. I hope to see someday the platinum tier with more intimate massage, and yes, i think, there would be a guy a good option for some massage-styles. That is my opinion. Not the opinion of all of us.

This applies to all videos on YouTube, no matter have it extened part or not.

It has to do with the fact that most of us are paying to see the massage of beautiful women done in ASMR style. That's the whole reason for paying for the membership. Otherwise there is plenty of free content on YOUTUBE. It's built in to the design of this channel's Patreon. Hence the reason for the NU massage content. To not understand this is either dishonest or naive.

i would also note i think the more supportable point of view is the channel simply does not provide enough content. the channel has over 6000 subscribers. at the lowest level of subscription, that is $18,000 a month for that level of revenue, a couple of 30 minute videos a week is not a significant amount of content.

This channel their entire business model is enticing people who watch "SFW" videos on YouTube (or any other platform they're on), to come and pay for largely NSFW on Patreon.
