90s pop culture classic. Captured the noir 1950s Hollywood glamor and gangster silhouette. While not shying from the ramifications of the unchecked power thugness of the era. The 50s films always showed the entertainment of tough gang-like cops vs the mob/gangsters and made it fun.......but never showed what that "power" thug policing did to the non-gangsters. ps the Kevin Spacey vibe a bit diff with this watch tho. π³

The fact that you hadn't seen THIS masterpiece was most shocking to me π€£ - considering the genre! Same goes for The Untouchables.
- it won the oscar for best screenplay and supporting actress Kim Basinger. Unfortuanetely it came out the same year as Titanic - so of course it didn't win anything else because Titanic took home 11 awards and basically won everything at all the other award shows π€£
