Yeah far too many people seem to get upset at the fact that Korra isn't a marry sue.

She doesn't react to it in the 'right' way, and is intentionally written to be flawed, but the things she's feeling aren't wrong at all. Like, she absolutely can act in a bratty manner, but she just learned that her two father figures have been lying to her about why she lived so isolated. Plus, the whole time they're talking about decisions for her like she isn't standing right there. Living in a White Lotus compound kept Korra safe, but it also meant that she was very naive, and literally never had a friend besides her polar-bear dog. It's a really interesting contrast to Aang, who lived more-or-less a normal life until he was told he was the Avatar. He had friends he played with, he traveled, and basically got to develop as a normal person. Korra never had that. Her whole life has been about being the Avatar, training and fighting for it. I think the way she behaves and reacts makes a lot of sense considering all of that.
