We totally agree! We are going to start season 3 tomorrow and watch that before moving onto the live action! We would be sad to have spoilers now after two seasons of not having any! Thank you for the advice! :)

2024-02-27 23:51:58 +0000 UTCExcited for season 3! An interesting detail after Katara catches Aang, the way she is holding him is very reminiscent of a sculpture by Michaelangelo called 'La Pietà'. Its a sculpture depicting the Virgin Mary cradling the body of Jesus after he was taken down from the cross. I guess the artists for this episode wanted to evoke the same feeling of witnessing the “savior” of this world dying and then being resurrected.
