More Mercs to Come...
Added 2024-02-01 23:32:15 +0000 UTCHi all. So with v5 of MetalMercs now out the next two big planned expansions are the Games of Titan and the Great Expedition. In my original release plan the Game of Titan was supposed to come out before v5 however it got bumped to after, and I think it's going to get bumped again. There are a number of reasons but it largely boils down to me having some fun new ideas of what Titan will entail, and realizing that at least in terms of gameplay mechanics the Expedition needs to come first. With the Great Expedition I had always planned an expansion of some of the core gameplay elements in MetalMercs and I think that just needs to happen before I can make Titan everything I want it to be.
Now all that said, both of these expansions are going to take some time. Just to set your expectations it may be a few months here but my goal is to make them serious upgrades to the game. If you're a Patron, you'll be seeing some special builds eventually as you'll get early access to all this stuff, but even still, if you don't hear from me for several weeks, I haven't given up, I'm instead more likely in seclusion, hard at work!
