🍕 Pizza Croc! 🐊 : Kroko need no shorts!

Defining the character is hard! I usually goes with the most basic thing when it come to design the character that you can put yourself in it. For example, Wuffle with the blue overalls or Foxxo with black tuxedo and red bow tie.

Kroko used to be like that, a croc with white tank top and red shorts. 

But in this pizza croc version, Kroko is not just average people that walk barefeet on street anymore. He has a job now and a more define characteristic as someone who has responsiblity but still playful. He gonna need some updated on his looks a bit!

I started with a blank template of him, based on the first sketch I did. Just a croc in a black tee and a cap.

I still deciding with shorts or no shorts. I chose no shorts because you can add the shorts later and see if it alright or not anyway.

In my head he always wearing a pink rollerblades with white or teal color wheels. But the shirts? Either black, red or pink are all nice but what option that show that he's a pizza delivery boy the most?

Changed his skin to be darker since I wanted the setting to be on the beach and to help make the red tee more pops.

Adding the vest and... its too obcious that the design is lost and all I do is just randomly design the shirt and slaps the pizza symbol on it.

I decided to get rid of the pizza symbol logo and just go with the red and white hoodie. Lovely! He got have a feeling of pizza delivery boy without showing hte logo now.

What is corcodile's spikes can act like a hair? hmmmm

A blonde/gold hair indeed! I then adjust the shoes shaped to be simplere, plus add a kneecap. Since he gonna use rollerblades a lot hes gonan need some safety!

I like this design a lot. Time to paint some poses!

Hmmm... looks really naked eh? XD At this time I still not sure giving him no shorts is the right idea. Time to paint some pants,shorts for comparison!

Shorty blue jeans shorts! I really love it! The only problem is I'm too lazy to draw those scruffy part on the jeans XD Plus, my friend told me this even make him looks more lewd somehow lol

My friend, Daztoons, suggest about change the blue shorts into red instead with white tee/hoodie. Then it clicked on me. This is like his original clothes color! Fun and energetic!

Time to draw the rest of the characters and make a comparison!

Look at them <3 All together with the color theme that show their personality... Why are they so gloomy somehow XD The dark green color on Kroko is so alienate compare to the rest and I think I must go back to the original color somehow. I need more bright and fun for them!

And here he is. I draw a new one and gave him a red hoodie and blue jeans to compare the one below. He still alienated with the idea of wearing a shorts on every version lately...

So... the only way to fix this IS TO TAKE OFF THOSE DAMN SHORTS!

I then make the rest of the cast more pops in color, o more gloomy and grey in every palette. Pari the platypus got the big make over by changing her whole design to be more cartoony than ever!

And the designs of Pizza Croc is done! This year gonan be a busy year for me with the job so I thinking if I don't have much time to do an animation out of them. I will turn them into a comic. A comic that will brighten up your day, fullfilled with love to warm  your heart and fill your stomach with pizza from Kroko <3
