aaahhhh I’m pretty excited, I've been writing I Roved Out in Search of Truth and Love and it's gonna be coooool. It’ll have sex, magic, sex magic, assassins, a frog, painted jezebels, all kinds of weird things and strange people... Mostly it’ll have Cinder trying to get out of this fuckin’ epic quest everyone wants to send her on…

It’s under construction as we speak - spread the word! LET IT BE KNOWN. There will be a more concrete news regarding website/release schedule by the end of the month.

Thanks everybody for making it possible <3

PS: OH shit I think I'm going to have to scrap the Ask Maeryll Anything reward... this month's will be fine as it's a sex-specific query, but we've gotten to a point with the more story/setting-related questions where answering more will just be spoiling elements of the larger story. If you have suggestions for fixing this or ideas for a new 5$ reward, I'm open to them!

To avoid spoilers but preserve the voting aspect, limit it to a multiple choice like a "choose your own adventure." If you don't want spoilers, make it about stuff tangential to the current story arc. It could be a "the more you know" segment where Maeryll gives trivia or a life lesson about something that was in the story arc (ex. Did you know that trolls have two stomachs? or That is why you never have sex with an orc?). Alternatively, it could just be a bonus scene that is about some minor character that appeared in the story arc (ex. The scribe returns home to write in his diary, "I never thought this could happen to me. I was writing a poem in my journal in the park, when I met these two elf ladies...) That way, you avoid spoilers but still allow sort of open-ended possibilities for the voters. You could break up the votes by chapter or episode or however you want.

hmm I like that, I'll have to see what my workload is like once the comic gets rolling. Will keep it in mind, thanks Tara!

Okay, I appreciate that actually; I really like stories that dare to let the reader connect a few dots for themselves. As a modification to my idea, maybe offer four options that Maeryll could elaborate on for each story (or two or fifteen or whatever) and have everyone vote on them? Just to kinda keep the format.

Tara Summers

I can definitely see the appeal, but it doesn't jive with the way I write - I like to let people figure the story or setting out for themselves, and if something is unexplained, it's either about to be revealed, or purposely left open.

Alexis Flower

This is good, so we could ask for more detail on stuff that has happened - at your discretion. So you could modify the question a bit or pick the second choice etc. Ask Maeryll Almost Anything :)

Wait, this starts with the Sorceror's sign? As for a new $5 award - depending on the publication frequency, maybe change it to "Maeryll comments the story"? As in, gives additional details on current events and such, as inquired by commenters?

Tara Summers

Probably the best cover page this world have ever seen.
