2024-04-07 05:48:58 +0000 UTCThe expressiveness and emotion of Caesar really sold it. The motion capture was done by Andy serkis who played Gollum in Lord of the rings. There was also a lot of work done by animators at Weta Digital to make the motion capture work. I knew the guys who worked on it.

This version has revolutionary CG apes, not costumes, and it shows in the expressiveness and fluidity/agility of the motion. Many in the industry think it should've won Oscars for it's VFX.
