Laundry Day (WIP)
Added 2018-07-16 03:26:39 +0000 UTCI decided this was one of my favorites from the last sketch stream, so it's getting colored up!
There's definitely plans to add extra characters to the scene before I finish. It took a few days to make the background in 3d from scratch light it, but I htink it's a great base for the props I'm planning to draw in, and the usual edits/finishing touches that pull it all together. This style of incorporating lines into the set is one I used to do near the beginning of my patreon opening, and seeing it again reminds me of how nice it looks. It could very well be a thing I do more often from here on out.

2018-07-16 10:01:18 +0000 UTCActually this would not be the bottomless district! It’s a more seedy part of town, and on top of that there’s a social nod to nudity in this universe’s laundromats. A logical taboo would be displays of sexual don’t-give-a-fuck, and I imagine the bigger and more intimidating species can get away with this more easily.

2018-07-16 10:00:23 +0000 UTCHm is this in the bottomless district? So far (as I remember could be wrong lol) sexual acts have been kept to more “private” settings (locked rooms, wilderness ect). So I guess the choice to add or not add characters gives us a feel of the society of the bottomless district more. Unless the other characters seem like the types that wouldnt care like the tattooed sphinx or the hoepossum
2018-07-16 07:24:18 +0000 UTCFor the life of me, I can't figure out why he'd be holding his head like that. But artistically it makes sense, because otherwise his arm would be blocking some of the action if it were down where it ought to be. Maybe he hit his head on the ceiling?
