Wow, have we been busy!

Abney Parks last 5 weeks was crazy. 5 shows, 3 countries, 15,000 miles travel, and finishing and releasing a new album!  YIKES!  

So, sorry if I’ve been a little absentee.  But, all that's behind us, and I’ve got a few weeks to catch up. 

Lets see, we played Oregons Faerie Worlds, which I have to say is a gorgeous event!  After that we did a show in Saint Petersburg Russia, at Opera Club, which is this big gorgeous golden theater. It went flawlessly. 

The next morning we took a high speed bullet train to Moscow, and headed straight to sound check at Zil Arena, where...yeah, you know this story: the laptop wouldn't boot up. So we had to improvise an acoustic set in front of thousands of people.

Then, we missed our flights back home (again) and had exactly one day to buy a new laptop, and set it up for a full live show...before...

...heading back to Canada for two more shows!  

These shows, at the Grand Canadian Steampunk Exposition, went phenomenally. Grand Canadian Steampunk exposition is a must-not-miss steampunk festival in an old civil war era for near Niagra falls. Beautiful big stage and lighting, pristine sound system, but intimate and personal. You'll likely find your self hanging out with Abney Park, watching Professor Elemental, or hanging out with the Professor, while watching Abney Park...and end up in a old English pub with the lot of them, drinking and joking till the close the place!  

I highly recommend it, if its at all within your travel range.

Then, after getting back from that show, we had exactly 5 days in launch the NEW CD! Crash, the new CD, went on sale on the 30th, at noon, and has been selling tremendously well. I think people really like the idea of a CD and Board Game mixed, because we have sold a lot more CDs then I was afraid we would, give the current state of the music industry. 

So, yeah, thats a lot of stuff we just finished! and now I've got to get back to pampering you patrons!  I’ll get straight away to providing everybody the perks they are owed. And after that, I’m going to get the Radio Drama back into gear!
