Watch that episode again. Connie never says she is really smart. Only that she got the brains of the kids. Everything is relative. Relative to a baboon, a chimp is intelligent. Connie compared to Lonnie and Bonnie is maybe intelligent, but that doesn’t spell her as super smart like Vivian or Justine. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think she is stupid, but I have her figured as a fairly decent lawyer, but not more.
