Soundtrack: Grow As We Go
Added 2022-09-19 00:00:00 +0000 UTCWe're now very much finished an arc of Jonny and Garrett coming together as a couple. Yes, they have been boyfriends since season 3. But because of the nature of their characters and their backstories, I did not want their flaws and their baggage to miraculously get fixed the moment they found love. Some people take time to surrender all of themselves to someone, and mistakes will still be made. And for our boys, this is the moment they truly decided to move forward as one.
As for the soundtrack, I have chosen Grow As We Go by Ben Platt. I thought this part of the lyrics fit this arc quite well; "Tell me you don't wanna leave. 'Cause if change is what you need. You can change right next to me."
