Wow.
Thank you from all of us at Rusty Towers to everyone who made RQ: Gaming and Giving 2019 such a tremendous success. We set ourselves an ambitious target of raising £8000 for Mind, the mental health charity, and, honestly, we would have been very happy if we'd just managed to beat last year's total of £4500.
But you all rose to the occasion, and smashed through all our expectations! The support & love & generosity has been overwhelming - and our current total stands at £9183 (with ticket sales & matched donations still to be added). Once we've recovered and had a bit of a rest, we're gonna start thinking about next year's event & how to make it even better. And we're probably gonna need a bigger venue :-)
Speaking as Community Manager, I just want to say how happy it made me on Saturday to see everyone - both online and those there in person - coming together and making friends, and being supportive of each other, quite apart from being RQ fans. Your generosity of heart & spirit is awesome to behold!
In case you didn't see/hear, we announced the start date for Season 5 of The Magnus Archives - the show will return for its final season on Thursday 2nd April 2020 (and on the 1st for early access Patrons). So, make sure your calendars are marked and keep an eye on the show feed for more season break material, like another Assistants' Round Table and some behind-the-scenes production news with 'The Making of MAG158'!
We also hope you've enjoyed the return of Stellar Firma for Season 2 and remind folks that the Stellar Firma Ltd employee complaints form (open to all Patrons at the Rusty Citizen level and above) is open HERE.
And on the #RQGaming front, we begin our three-part 2019 Xmas special this week as we welcomed Grant Howitt back into the studio - on one of the hottest days of the year - to bring us something suitably festive. Folks have been asking for us to play this since it was released, so I hope you'll all enjoy Alex, Helen & Bryn playing Sexy Battle Wizards for your Yuletide pleasure! ;-)
The main campaign will resume with RQG141 on 8th January 2020, as we also have a new metacast lined up for you.

The giving and gaming livestream has become a Christmas tradition in my household, even if that led to my 10 year old daughter begging to spend her Christmas money on Mount Your Friends last year. Thank you for putting on something that's so fun and engaging, and congratulations on the incredible fundraising!

You guys — yes, you: there wouldn't be a fan community doing this if you weren't making the things for us to be fans of — are putting such good into the world and genuinely making a difference, and I'm so very happy for the chance to be a part of it.
